Nicki Minaj Confirms Lil Baby Collab Arrives Next Week
There has been speculation about a potential collab between Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby but the head Barb has put the rumors to rest and has confirmed that she and Baby will, in fact, be dropping a song together soon.
The Pink Friday rapper posted a photo of herself and Baby onto her Instagram Wednesday (Jan. 26) with the caption, “DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM⁉️BABY X BARBIE 🦄🎀🤞🏽 PINK FRIDAY 🔥 FEB 4 👅⬆️🤣”
The rap queen mentioned last month in an Instagram post that she hadn’t had any new albums or singles out in three years yet has managed to break records. Nicki hopped on Doja Cat’s “Say So” remix which currently holds the Guinness World Record for the first woman rap collaboration to reach the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Nicki has continuously kept herself busy by assisting on tracks such as BIA’s “Whole Lotta Money (Remix),” Karol G’s “Tusa” and remixing “Seeing Green” from her ’09 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty with previous Young Money labelmates Lil Wayne and Drake.
The Barbie and Baby collab is set to drop Friday, Feb. 4.
