Drake Surpasses The Beatles with Most Top 5 Hits
“I got more slaps than the Beatles,” Drake boasted on Meek Mill’s “Going Bad” and now apparently that is true. Drake has added another musical feat to his record as he surpasses the legendary group The Beatles by securing the most top five hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
According to Billboard, the Canadian rapper secured his 30th career hit with DJ Khaled’s “Staying Alive” featuring Lil Baby, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. He now has the most top five hits of any artist of all time.
This is not the first time Drake has broken a Beatles record. The Honestly, Nevermind rapper surpassed the group’s record for the most songs simultaneously in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10 (seven to five) back in 2018 when he dropped Scorpion. A year later the rapper got a tattoo to commemorate the feat by getting the cover to Abbey Road on his arm.
