Lil Uzi Vert Teases Another Album If ‘Pink Tape’ Goes No. 1
Lil Uzi Vert is bargaining with their fans to get Pink Tape to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. “Get this 2 number one, and I will drop the album y’all really looking for,” Uzi wrote alongside a photo of the album’s cover on their Instagram Story on Tuesday (July 4).

In addition to the Instagram Story post, Uzi updated their bio on Instagram to add Luv is rage 3 hinting at the title of their next project.
According to HipHopDX, Uzi’s Pink Tape is on track to debut as the leader on the Billboard 200 chart. Early projections of the album are slated to sell between 220,000 and 250,000 equivalent album units in its first week. That is enough for the project to be No. 1. If Pink Tape can achieve that feat, it will be the first hip-hop album of 2023 to top the chart.

As for Luv is Rage 3 if Uzi drops this project, it will be the followup to their debut studio album Luv is Rage 2, which was released in 2017. The original Love is Rage was their debut commercial mixtape released in 2015. Uzi followed up Luv is Rage 2 with 2020’s Eternal Atake. The Philadelphia rapper also released Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World 2 and his collab album with Future Pluto × Baby Pluto in 2020. Prior to the Pink Tape, Uzi released his EP Red & White in 2022.
The Pink Tape contains 26 tracks and was released at midnight on Friday (June 30). The highly anticipated album features guest appearances from Travis Scott on “Aye,” Nicki Minaj on “Endless Fashion,” rock band Bring Me The Horizon on “Werewolf,” Don Toliver on “Patience,” and BABYMETAL on “The End.”
Uzi had previously teased Pink Tape back in 2020 during a live session. They later confirmed the project title on Twitter in 2021.

The rapper again mentioned it during his set at Rolling Loud Miami earlier this year. “I do make y’all wait a long time for music and I’m so sorry. I thought that s— was cool before but that s— is lame,” Uzi told the crowd.
