Amy Grant Coming to GPAC at UNC Pembroke This September
Save the date Robeson County, as Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Amy Grant is coming to Givens Performing Arts Center at UNC Pembroke this September.
The show is set for September 21, 2024, and tickets go on sale this Friday, April 19. You may buy your tickets from the GPAC Ticket Office or you call the Box Office for tickets at 910.521.6361.
It seems like it was just yesterday that Amy Grant made a huge splash and quickly became one of the most beloved Contemporary Christian and pop music performers at the time.
It took Amy no time to win two Gospel Music Association Dove Awards and also win her first Grammy Award.
In the 1980’s, Grant set her sights on becoming the first-ever Christian music-based Contemporary Pop artist. Her 1985 album “Unguarded” placed her on the Top 40 music chart and the Adult Contemporary chart as well.

Grant’s first number one song “The Next Time I Fall” was a duet with Chicago’s lead singer Pete Cetera.
