Jay-Z Takes to Twitter About Alleged Kanye Diss on Meek Mill’s “What’s Free”
You know things must be serious if Jay-Z actually tweets about it.
Hov hasn’t tweeted anything since June 2017, but with everyone talking about that line on “What’s Free,” his collaboration on Meek Mill’s new album Championships, he clearly wanted to set the record straight.
Many thought Jay-Z’s line of, “No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye / They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA, uh,” was meant to be a diss on Kanye West. However, here’s Jay-Z’s explanation:
The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album . Drake and Meek on there together .
