Ari Lennox Releases Debut Album ‘Shea Butter Baby’
This morning (May 7), Ari Lennox dropped her long-awaited debut studio album, Shea Butter Baby.

The Dreamville songstress took to Instagram to announce the 12 track album release. Lennox’s album has a few features, only her two label mates J. Cole and J.I.D.
Shea Butter Baby features Lennox’s singles “Whipped Cream,” “Up Late,” and “Shea Butter Baby,” which first appeared on the Creed II soundtrack. In 2016, Lennox released her project Pho, which followed up 2013’s Ariography.
Last night, Lennox held a private listening event in New York City for Shea Butter Baby. Lennox is also gearing up to trek the nation on her Shea Butter Baby promotional tour alongside Baby Rose, Mikhala Jene, and Ron Gilmore.

The tour kicks off on Mother’s Day (May 12) in Phoenix, Arizona and will make stops in Los Angeles, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, and Toronto. It concludes in Charlotte on June 21.
