Watch: A Younger Saweetie Raps For J. Cole In A Resurfaced Video
An old video of a younger Saweetie rapping for a young J. Cole has recently surfaced.
On Thursday (May 30), The Shade Room shared the “throw back” video via their Instagram page.
There’s no information regarding when exactly the video was shot, but from the looks of J. Cole’s haircut, it may be from circa 2011 or 2012, as the “Middle Child” rapper currently has long locs.
In the beginning of the video, Saweetie is seen asking Cole,”Can I rap for you?” Cole replies, “Uh! Yes!”
“You can call me a robber, robber, robber/Did she say robber?/if she said robber/and no you can’t stop her/so don’t try to do it/because if you try to do it/I will drain your body fluids/and I’ll chop you into pieces/and I’ll eat you like a Reese’s/cause I’ll have your body screaming…/you’re an Indian/Sha-la-la-la boom,” Saweetie rapped.
Cole told her, “Yeaaaah! That’s dope,” and she said,”I’mma be up there with you one day,” at the end of the clip.
