Brooklyn Street Officially Gets Renamed After The Notorious B.I.G.
The intersection of Fulton St. and St. James Place in Brooklyn, New York is now renamed Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace Way.

The iconic late rapper grew up in the same neighborhood that the new street sign went up in on Monday (June 10) , as reported by The Root.
The rapper’s close friends and former group members, rappers Lil Kim and Lil Cease were in attendance of the unveiling ceremony alongside the MC’s mother, Voletta Wallace and his son, CJ Wallace.
“A lot of love I see displayed out here for my son,” Voletta told a big crowd gathered in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn to commemorate the “Juicy” rapper’s memory.
“I’m sure he’d use some of his saying: ‘Yo, that’s cool, Brooklyn. We did it!’ Maybe this sign and the crowds here today will show they really loved him,” Biggie’s mother continued.
“He always had a vision,” said Lil’ Kim. “And I feel like today was part of his vision.”
Queens rapper Nas took to Instagram to share a photograph of the intersection (pictured first above) and to shout out his mother, children, and fellow loved ones.
