Fans already received a tease of the album with its lead singles “Got Me” featuring Lennox, Ty Dolla $ign, Omen, and Dreezy and “Down Bad” featuring Bas, Cole, Young Nudy, and EARTHGANG.
“The hardest part was finding how to bring those energies together and still make it feel like an album, like something that represents us,” Dreamville president Ibrahim Hamad said during an interview of the sessions with XXl magazine. “It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. But the music is so good.”
Cole teased the long-awaited album last week with the trailer for REVENGE: A Dreamville Film which drops on Tuesday, July 2, and chronicles the recording sessions for the project, which transpired over the course of 10 days in Atlanta during the top of this year.
