DaBaby Defends Homophobic Rant
DaBaby took to his Instagram Story Monday to defend his rant during his Rolling Loud performance Sunday.
“I wasn’t going on a rant,” he said before later continuing in the video, “even my gay fans don’t have AIDS…my gay fans don’t go for that. They aren’t nasty gay n—-s. They ain’t junkies.”
The rapper was heard earlier telling audience members, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up. Ladies, if your p—- smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d— in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”
Fans took to Instagram to comment on the rapper’s clarification of his actions.
One user commented on TheShadeRoom’s repost of the video, “D— he made it worse.. he not comprehending why they mad 😂😂”
Another responded, “ain’t no words was twisted you said it juss like tht”
And one user said he should have just said nothing, Yea he could’ve kept that s—.”
Rolling Loud has not commented on the incident.
