Mary J. Blige Announces ‘Good Morning Gorgeous Tour’
Mary J. Blige is hitting the road for her Good Morning Gorgeous tour beginning this fall.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul will be joined by special guests Ella Mai and Queen Naija as they embark on a 23-city nationwide tour. Good Morning Gorgeous was released days before the icon’s Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show performance.
Black Promoters Collective Co-Founder and President Shelby Joyner shared in a statement per Vibe, “Mary J. Blige has been one of a select handful of artists at the top of our desired list to partner with since the initial construction of The BPC. Having her support in our mission so early in the process is a testament to the hard work we have put in to bring superior cultural experiences powered by black business to the masses. We firmly believe this is a match made in heaven and are honored to partner with the Queen.”
Naija performed at Blige’s Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit back in May, and Mai was a special guest during her Mary & Friends set. Blige also appears on Mai’s Heart On My Sleeve LP on the tracks “Not Another Love Song” and “Sink or Swim.”
The tour kicks off on Sept. 17 in North Carolina and ends in New Jersey on Oct. 29. Presale begins on Wednesday (June 15) for American Express cardholders only until Thursday, June 16 at 10 p.m. local time. General tickets for the Good Morning Gorgeous Tour go on sale this Friday (June 17) at 10 a.m. local time.
