Drake Flexes Virgil Abloh’s Maybach Off-Roader In ‘Sticky’ Video
Drake has released a visual for “Sticky” off of his dance album Honestly, Nevermind.
The rapper released the video on Tuesday (August 2) in collaboration with his go-to director Theo Skudra. The visual starts off with concert footage of Drake’s “Wants and Needs” partner Lil Baby as they perform a sold-out show.
It wouldn’t be a Drizzy video without some champagne toasts and some nightlife scenes: Skudra captures the Toronto rapper’s lavish vacation hitting Montreal, Miami, Sweden, and Saint-Tropez. The visual continues giving a quick shoutout to Young Thug and Gunna as green slime letters reading “FREE YSL” appear on the screen referencing the rapper’s recent incarcerations as their held on RICO charges. Drizzy previously shouted out YSL in the visual to “Falling Back” as well.
Later in the video you see the Honestly, Nevermind rapper flexing in the late Virgil Abloh's custom Mercedes-Mayback off-roader coupe. The luxury vehicle is known as Project Maybach and references in the song with the lines, “The toughest act to follow’s back on tour/Off-road Maybach, Pyrex trap/Virgil came back through the boy, damn,” Drake raps. Drizzy previously teased that he would be using the Maybach on Instagram when the visual dropped.
