Quavo and Takeoff’s first joint project will arrive next month. The two emcees are two-thirds of the rap trio Migos alongside Offset. The ATL natives announced Wed. (Sept. 7) that Only Built for Infinity Links will arrive October 7 via Quality Control/Motown. The title of their joint record is a reference to Raekwon’s 1995 solo project Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

The two rappers have not revealed a tracklist as of yet but have released several singles under the monikers Unc & Phew. With the release of their lead single “Hotel Lobby,” the two fueled Migos break up rumors. They continued to add more fuel to the fire when they dropped “Big Stunna” featuring Birdman and the Gucci Mane-assisted “Us Vs. Them.”
Offset also has been releasing new music without his Migos groupmates. He dropped “54321” produced by Baby Keem and then followed up with his latest song “Code” featuring Moneybagg Yo. The rapper performed both songs on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (Sept. 7).

Offset’s solo journey came with a bit of drama as he filed a lawsuit with Quality Control last month for allegedly claiming ownership over his recent solo releases despite him buying back his rights in 2021, which he claims he “paid handsomely” for, Variety reports. Offset alleges that the label’s ownership claim over his solo recording and songwriting is “wrongful and knowingly violates [his] rights to his own music.”
“N—– act like I’m the problem I paid millions to get my rights back,” Offset tweeted Wednesday (Aug. 24) referring to Quality Control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas . “N—- you blackballed me I ain’t said s— one time homie I ain’t spoke to you in 2 years now I drop and you want ya name on my credit?”
Thomas responded seemingly tweeting back at Offset referring to Migos’ previous lawsuit that was dismissed back in 2021. “Been to real for all this lame s—,” P wrote in a since-deleted tweet per Vulture. “Everyone know the real problem.”
The last time the Migos dropped a full-length project together was their Culture III LP back in 2021. All of the group members have released solo projects previously before the rumored riff amongst the trio made headlines. Quavo and Takeoff issued their projects in 2018 (Quavo Huncho and The Last Rocket, respectfully), with Offset’s Father of 4 landing the following year.
