Fayetteville State University has been named one of the top HBCUs in the country, according to College Consensus.

Fayetteville State University is making big steps, and now it’s being recognized as one of the top HBCU schools in the country.

Our friends over at College Consensus rankings put together a list of the 50 best Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the country, and FSU ranked pretty high on the list (see exactly where below).

The list is a combination of rankings from both students and other research firms, that are put together for the College Consensus rankings.

“With the Consensus method, the biases of other rankings are filtered out, leaving a picture of the institutions with the strongest academics, strongest student support and community, and strongest outcomes.”

As an alumna of Thee South Carolina State University, I was happy to see it make the top 50 best HBCU list as well as Fayetteville State University! Go Broncos!

This list is a great guide for any student looking to go to college and especially share in the HBCU culture and experience. Going to an HBCU shaped me into the woman I am today.

“College Consensus rankings combine the results of the most respected college ranking systems with the averaged ratings of thousands of real student reviews from around the web to create a unique college meta-ranking. This approach offers a comprehensive and holistic perspective missing from other college rankings. Visit our about page for information on which rankings and review sites were included in this year’s consensus rankings.”
