Nicki Minaj Says Cardi B May Get Killed Messing With The Wrong People
Does that sound like a threat to you?
Personally, I don’t think that Nicki Minaj is anywhere near worried about Cardi B, but she tries to express that if Cardi keeps messing with the wrong people, she’s going to find herself in a casket.
She said on her radio show, according to Hot New Hip Hop:
“This is about ‘get this woman some f**king help.’ This woman is at the best stage in her career and she’s out here throwing bottles and throwing shoes!? Who the f**k is gonna give her a f**king intervention? You n—as don’t care until someone is dead! You n—as want someone to f**king die until y’all stop… until y’all stop this bullsh*t. You put your hands on certain people, you gon’ die. Period!”
Of course, she’s referring to their New York Fashion Week incident. But my thing is, I’m still frustrated with how Nicki came after Travis Scott for being #1. I think a lot of what Nicki is doing right now is for shock value / getting people talking, and that it will maybe lead people to her album.
Does she care about Cardi? No. If anything, Cardi gave her exactly what she wanted: Something to talk about. Which honestly, isn’t doing her any favors, as XXL notes that “Nicki went on to call Cardi B a ‘disgusting pig’ and said she’d ‘built her career off sympathy and payola.'”
Either way, it’s working for Nicki, even if it’s negative/distasteful. She just released her new video for “Barbie Dreams,” which you can watch here:
