The Nationals Are World Series Winners: Twitter’s Best Reactions
The Washington Nationals beat the Houston Astros 6-2 in Game Seven to become the 2019 World Series winners. The Nationals had been underdogs the entire season but came home with the win and the franchise’s first World Series title. Per NBC News, Nationals owner described the win as, “The dream come true, and we did it for the fans of Washington.”
