Why Giuliana Rancic And Vivica A. Fox Pulled Out Of The Emmys At The Last Minute
Giuliana Rancic and Vivica A. Fox were both set to appear on Live From The Red Carpet: The 2020 Emmy Awards last night, but had to drop out at the last minute. Both of them tested positive for coronavirus.
Giuliana Rancic shared a statement with E! News and on social media about missing the show. She said, “I do not take missing an awards show lightly. But unfortunately, this year is just so different. As part of E! and NBCUniversal’s very strict testing guidelines, especially before an event like this, I did find out I tested positive for COVID-19.”
“Now, as much as I didn’t want to hear that, I’m very thankful that I heard it before I traveled and possibly could’ve exposed other people.”
She revealed in her caption that her husband Bill and son Duke also tested positive for Covid-19.
According to The Wrap, Fox also released a statement. She said, “During these unprecedented times, it’s more important than ever that we follow all safety and health rules and guidelines to protect ourselves and each other.”
