New ‘Saved By The Bell’ Trailer Is Out, And The Gang Is Back Together
As we previously reported, Saved By The Bell is another show getting the reboot treatment. The series will air on Peacock, and they have just given fans a first look at the new version.
In the trailer, most of the gang is returning to reprise their characters, including Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, and Elizabeth Berkley. And the show will focus on their children. The clip shows that Zack Morris is the governor of California, and A.C. Slater is the school’s gym teacher.
Per Rolling Stone, “In a bizarre turn of events, Zack Morris is now the governor of California, and his recent decision to close several of the state’s underfunded schools means that students are now being absorbed by more affluent neighborhoods, like — you guessed it — Bayside High.”
Noticeably absent from the teaser is Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle) and Dustin Diamond (Screech).
