Safaree Claims Erica Mena Trashed His Stuff, He’s Suing For Damanges
Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena’s divorce is getting messy.
The 40-year-old Samuels is claiming that his soon-to-be ex-wife destroyed his expensive sneakers and motorbikes and is seeking $50k in damages.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ state, “[Mena] damaged $30k worth of custom sneakers by pouring bleach on them and cutting the laces and destroyed 2 motorcycles and a four-wheeler motorbike by pouring paint all over the motorcycles, and directly into the exhaust pipes and gas tanks of all the vehicles.”
Ultimately, the Love & Hip-Hop star wants Mena to reimburse him for the damages caused and mentioned that he is considering pursuing felony charges for criminal destruction.
Safaree claims that there is security footage of how all of this went down and has no problem showing it in court.
Mena was 8 months pregnant with their second child at the time of the alleged incident and has publicly expressed that she has felt overwhelmed from caring for their children.
The Love & Hip-Hop costars are still in the process of filing for divorce and amidst a custody battle for their 1-year-old daughter, Safire and newborn son, Legend, who is currently in the NICU.
