Kanye West has mocked Pete Davidson for deleting his Instagram account, after rejoining the social media platform for only a week. He first left the social media platform in May 2020. On Wednesday morning (February 23), Davidson, 28, shared a clip from Martin Scorsese’s 1982 film The King of Comedy, appearing to “shade” Kanye. The Saturday Night Live star shared a clip of Rupert Pupkin (played by Robert De Niro) saying in the film, “Better to be king for a night than a schmuck for a lifetime.” The comments section of the video was quickly flooded with messages about Pete, with many users claiming that he was clearly “firing sneaky shots” at Ye, 44.
Yesterday, West shared a screenshot of Davidson’s now-deactivated Instagram profile, accompanied with a caption that read: “Ran Skete off the gram Tell your mother I changed your name for life”
