LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - DECEMBER 12: Jordan Peele attends the premiere of Illumination's 'Sing 2' on December 12, 2021 in Los Angeles, California.

Jordan Peele’s highly anticipated film Nope hits theaters next month and in his latest trailer, we finally find out a bit about the plot of the movie.

Nope is the Oscar-winning director’s third feature film, following Get Out and Us. Unlike the previous trailers for the film, this final trailer expands on the plot. Nope stars Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer who play sibling ranch owners who are trying to capture the sight of aliens for a large payout and avenge the death of their father.

Previously, Peele explained the meaning behind the title of the film.

“The film is a ride. The title speaks to the idea of the audience reacting to what they’re thinking and feeling in the theater,” Peele said per ScreenRant. “When you tell people it’s a scary movie a lot of time they say ‘NOPE.’ So I want to acknowledge those people with the title and bring them in. This is about the person who thinks they don’t love the horror movie. To show them that maybe they do.”

Nope opens in theaters on July 22.
