Celebrations Set For All Weekend Long in Fayetteville in Honor of MLK Day
Hey there! So, this MLK day, I’m super excited to be hosting The Mo You Know’s MLK Day of Celebrations and Dreams. It’s all going down on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2 pm at the Smith Recreation Center. One of my big goals for 2024 is to get more involved in our community and show my dedication beyond just being on the airwaves. I’ll be joining in on various community-focused events and really embodying the spirit of Foxy 99’s commitment to our local peeps.
The Mo You Know MLK Day of Celebrations and Dreams is gonna be epic! It’s all about bringing folks together and celebrating the incredible legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This event, put together by the amazing ShaDonna “Mo” McPhaul, the visionary owner of “The Mo You Know,” is gonna be a blast. We’ll have entertainment, inspiration, and a whole lot of good vibes. And let me tell you, Mo’s journey is inspiring! After serving in the United States Air Force, she reinvented herself and jumped into the world of marketing and media. Now, as the proud owner of “The Mo You Know,” she’s breaking barriers and bringing people together.
Mo and I are both passionate about community engagement, so teaming up for this event was a no-brainer. The Mo You Know MLK Day of Celebrations and Dreams is just the beginning of the exciting collaborations we have planned for the year ahead. We’re all about supporting our community and local businesses, keeping that Foxy 99 spirit alive. Our station loves being a platform that entertains and makes a positive impact on Fayetteville.
As we kick off this new year, Foxy 99 FM is ready to strengthen our bonds with our listeners and local partners. The Mo You Know MLK Day of Celebrations and Dreams is just the start of an incredible journey, and we can’t wait to bring you top-notch entertainment while making a difference in our community. So, join us at the MLK Day parade and the MLK Day of Celebrations and Dreams this Saturday. Keep scrolling for more info on these events and my interview with Mo below!
