After an 8-8 Week, G-Moniy is Back With NFL Week 3 Picks
Last Week I broke even with 8-8 on my picks so we’re gonna see if I get better this week. There were so many injuries in week 2 that are going to have a major effect on the remaining season. Here we go:
Thursday, September 21, 2023
New York Giants vs San Francisco 49ers 8:15 PM – The best the Giants can do is keep it respectable. Despite a crazy comeback last week, without Saquon they won ‘t beat San Fran even with 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk expected to miss this game 27-13
Sunday, September 24, 2023
Tennessee Titans vs Cleveland Browns 1:00 PM – After a gruesome knee injury that will put Browns RB Nick Chubb out for the year they signed Kareem Hunt to help out in the backfield. Tennessee is hungry but this is a big game for Cleveland, I have them winning 24-21
Atlanta Falcons vs Detroit Lions 1:00 PM – Falcons coming off an impressive victory over Green Bay and Detroit lost in overtime to Seattle last week. This one is too close to call but I didn’t give Atlanta the benefit of the doubt last week so I have them winning this game 31-28
New Orleans Saints vs Green Bay Packers 1:00PM – The Saints are the favorites to win the NFC South, The Packers have been playing good football despite losing to ATL last week. Another close one, I’m going New Orleans 27-20
Denver Broncos vs Miami Dolphins 1:00 PM – I know it’s only Week 3 but Miami looks like they’re ready to make a deep playoff run. Meanwhile, the Broncos squandered an 18-point lead against the Commanders. Miami for the win 33-17
Los Angeles Chargers vs Minnesota Vikings 1:00 PM – This is a must-win game for both teams who are both 0-2. The Vikings just acquired RB Cam Akers from the Rams earlier this week, we’ll see what type of impact he has because the Vikings running game has been trash. On the other Side Chargers Star RB Austin Ekeler is out with an injury. I’m betting on Justin Jefferson so Vikings for the win 29-25
New England Patriots vs New York Jets 1:00 PM – The Patriots aren’t trying to go 0-3 so I expect Bill Belichick to get his guys ready for that Jets Defense. New England 17-14
Buffalo Bills vs Washington Commanders 1:00 PM – I really feel like the Buffalo Bills have something to prove every week. Buffalo for the win 21-17
Houston Texans vs Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 PM – Jacksonville is gonna go crazy on Houston 34-20
Indianapolis Colts vs Baltimore Ravens 1:00 PM – Expect the Baltimore Ravens to remain undefeated, especially with Rookie QB Anthony Richardson expected not to play with a concussion. Baltimore 34-24
Carolina Panthers vs Seattle Seahawks 4:05 PM – Rookie QB for the Panthers Bryce Young is expected to miss this game which means Andy Dalton will be starting. Either way Seattle is winning this game 30-18
Chicago Bears vs Kansas City Chiefs 4:25 PM – Justin Fields is having a tough time this year and that trend will continue against the Defending Super Bowl Champion Chiefs. Kansas City Wins 28-10
Dallas Cowboys vs Arizona Cardinals 4:25 PM – Star CB for the Cowboys Trevon Diggs tore his ACL 2 hours before I wrote this during practice. That’s a mighty blow to arguably the best defense in the NFL. Dallas will still win this game but now Arizona has the chance to move the ball more. Dallas wins 30-21
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Las Vegas Raiders 8:20 PM – The Steelers and Raiders are near mirror images of each other. Same record, and similar issues on offense and defense, neither team is consistent. The only difference is Raider fans aren’t chanting for the Offensive Coordinator to be fired. I flipped a coin Raiders win 21-20
Monday, September 25, 2023
Philadelphia Eagles vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7:15 PM – The Buccaneers are looking impressive this year and could be a sleeper team but the Eagles should win this game 27-24
Los Angeles Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals 8:15 PM – The Bengals haven’t been playing to their potential and the Rams just traded Cam Akers to the Vikings. Expect the Bengals to bounce back and win 28-24
