LISTEN: Pretty Porcelain Talks Purpose and Success in Dealing With Albinism
Last week, I had the pleasure of interviewing up and coming rap artist Pretty Porcelain from Florida.
She has a single out “Stop Playing With Me” that’s making the rounds in the world of music, so she stopped by to chop it up. We talked about her music, and what she has coming up.
“At that time I was going through a lot, with a breakup. People just stealing my energy, just playing my work,” she said. “I was like ‘How can we say something for the girl that’s still classy, not too raunchy, but telling someone to stop messing with you.'”
She also talked about living with albinism which is a rare genetic disorder where someone isn’t born with the usual amount of melanin pigment. Besides being an artist she’s a published model with an accomplished family.
“My purpose in life is to show people like me, that if I’m doing it, they can do it too.”
